I had purchased a scopion performance exhaust system for my previous 24v and never got a chance to fit it before the car was written off. Shortly after buying the second 24v I fitted the exhaust.

I was never really happy with the look or sound of the exhaust, especially without the cats. There was a performance gain but this was not enough. For novelty more than anything else I decided to do a little modification.

Mod 1 was to design some cat replacement silencers to replace the plain straight through pipes previously fitted.

Mod 2 was to enlarge the small silencer that sits just after the 'Y' two into one join in he scorpion system.

Mod 2 was to separate the twin tailpipes and resite them either side of the tow hitch.

I liked the look for a while and the additional silencers gave me the reduced exhaust noise level I was looking for, however the 'look' was not exactly right. The next mod was to remove the rear section and cut off the round pipes and replace them with the same square ended tailpipes as found on standard systems but made from stainless steel. These are the same tailpipes as I use for my own manufactured rear exhaust boxes.
